The Daniel Morcombe Foundation Adolescent Hub is a set of youth-informed resources designed to help young people aged 13–15 recognise online harm, respond safely, and get support. It includes two short videos, ‘Sextortion: Break the silence’ and ‘The F Word: Fake’, and practical guidance for young people, parents and carers, and educators to respond to serious online harms, including sextortion and AI-generated image abuse.
The resources were created by the Daniel Morcombe Foundation with the support of the Australian Government Department of Social Services. They were made in partnership with the ACCCE, eSafety, Kids Helpline, Bravehearts, NAPCAN, and other subject matter experts, educators and young people.
The ACCCE collaborated with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation to support the development of the resources, particularly the ‘Sextortion: Break the silence’ video. The ACCCE supported the resources by providing feedback on the content, insights on Sextortion, and support as featured reporting pathway.
